Tinsel Island

Tinsel Island is a standalone event location celebrating the Christmas Holidays! The island is filled with Christmas Spirit, Pokémon, and adventure!
How to Access
Tinsel Island is available from the Boat Terminal in Vermilion City and Olivine City's Ship Pier (see Traveling Between Regions).
You will arrive via boat at the Tinsel Island Pier!
Places of Interest
Tinsel Town
Tinsel town is a small settlement on the shores of Tinsel Island! Unfortunately the town has lost its Christmas Spirit!
Pokémon Center
Here you can heal your Pokémon and access the PC. Do not forget to check the training room in the basement for a special present!

Mayor's House
Visit the Mayor of Tinsel Town. It seems that she has a quest for you!
Pier
Visit the pier to head back to where you departed from.
Snowdrift Forest
A magical forest filled with puzzles, traps, and Pokémon, Are you clever enough and brave enough to venture in!

Explore the houses deep in the forest, some will aid you on your quest, while others will heal.
Merry Mountain Range
Explore the Mountain, both inside and out. Find items
Coal Cave
Coal cave located deep within the Merry Mountain Range is full of puzzles, and Pokémon.
One entrance lies a short surf from Tinsel Town, and the other up in the Merry Mountain Range

Mayor's Quest
The magical lamps scattered across the island have gone dark. Help Mayor Holly to relight the lamps before the Festival of Lights begins!
Silver Lamp of Spirit
The Silver Lamp of Spirit is located on the top of the Merry Mountain Range.
You find a riddle:

Boss Battle: Tinselore, Level 55
Green Lamp of Giving
The Green Lamp of Giving is located in the Snowdrift Forest. It wont be easy to find, be careful because you will find puzzles, traps and boss battles along your way.
Don't worry if you get lost or lose a battle your progress through the puzzles will be saved.
Snowflake Puzzle
In this puzzle you must create snowballs from the piles of snow and roll them to the center of the snowflake.

Ornament Puzzle
In this puzzle you must defeat the 4 boss Pokémon, defeating them will give you Decorations which you can place on the tree in the center.
Bosses:
- Abomasnow, Level 55
- Glalie, Level 55
- Vanilluxe, Level 55
- Cryogonal, Level 55
Beware the path to the next puzzle. Only one route is safe, the other is a trap!

Stocking Puzzle
I hope you have been paying attention, you have passed 4 presents by now. Each of those presents contained an item, a present!
Collect all 4 presents and bring them to the house at the foot of the stocking.
Place the presents in the stockings on the fire place.
Beware the path to the next puzzle. Only one route is safe, one is a trap, and the other may be a shortcut, or not!
If you take the wrong path:

Purple Lamp of Presents
The Purple Lamp of Presents is located deep in the Coal Cave.
To reach the lamp you must find the correct path and complete the puzzles.
- Strength Puzzles - Push the boulders on to the white circles and the rocks blocking your path will disappear
- Ice Puzzles - Slide across the ice to reach the end
- Hole Puzzle - You must walk over every hole on this map in order to destroy the rock blocking your path
