Bosses

Overview

Boss Pokémon are stronger-than-normal Pokémon that can be interacted with outside of battle. Upon defeating them, the player is rewarded with rare items. These special Pokémon can be found in various locations across the map and may also serve as elements of story progression.

The Bosses

As mentioned earlier, there are several Boss Pokémon scattered throughout the world, belonging to many different species. At the start of every battle against a Boss Pokémon, it will boost all of its stats by two stages, except for critical-hit chance. Below is a list of all currently available Boss Pokémon:

Location: On Route 36, its normal location in the original games. Item: Leftovers Nature: Random Moves: Stone Edge, Earthquake, Sucker Punch, and Wood Hammer Can it be captured?: Yes, but there's a chance he'll come with you. Respawn?: No

Lapras

Location: In Union Cave, can only be found on Fridays. Item: Lum Berry Nature: Random Moves: Scald, Psychic, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt Can it be captured?: Yes, but there's a chance he'll come with you. Respawn?: No Electrode Location: In Team Rocket's secret hideout beneath the Just a Souvenir Shop. Kanto

Moltres Location: At the top of Mount Ember, its default location in the games. Item: Leftovers Nature: Random Moves: Hurricane, Heal Bell, Roost, and Flamethrower Can it be captured?: Yes, but there's a chance he'll come with you. Respawn?: Yes, after a week the Pokémon reappears. Zapdos Location: At the end of the Power Plant, its default location in the games. Item: Leftovers Nature: Random Moves: Hurricane, Heal Bell, Roost, and Thunderbolt Can it be captured?: Yes, but there's a chance he'll come with you. Respawn?: Yes, after a week the Pokémon reappears. Articuno Location: On Seafoam Island, on the lowest underground level, the same location as in the games. Item: Leftovers Nature: Random Moves: Hurricane, Heal Bell, Roost, and Freeze-Dry Can it be captured?: Yes, but there's a chance he'll come with you. Snorlax Location: This Pokémon has two locations: one on Route 12, blocking the path to the bridge, and another on Route 16, blocking the passage to Route 17.
